Our manufacturing facility in China is a modern facility located around 60 miles outside of Hong Kong in the industrial city of Dongguan. Travel to this factory takes about 1.5 hours from the border at LoWu. Dongguan is one of the most properous cities in China and has a local population of around 6.5 million people which is nearly the same population as Hong Kong.
Factory Administration Office
This facility is completely turn-key in that it has its own administration for all of the manufacturing functions. This allows our engineers to concentrate on the design and our marketing people to work out the best products and projects to pursue without being tied down to the day to day running of the factory.
Our facility has ISO9001 certification and is operated utilizing most international standards for accounting, quality control, procurement and trading standards.

The production is fairly straightfoward in that we have automated insertion and soldering coupled with manual assembly steps. We maintain a good balance between manual and machine labor for cost effectiveness and maximum quality acceptance levels.
Production soldering
As was mentioned above, here is one of the soldering stations which uses OMEGA Flow and in-line cutting. We have found that this method acheives a consistant high level of quality over hand soldering or dip soldering, making the investment worthwhile.
This facility uses non-lead solder mixtures to conform to the latest environmental standards.
Environmental testers
As most of you know, environmental factors such as heat, humidity, salt, and chlorine for instance are constant enemies of lighting fixtures. We have test facilities in house that work on combating these elements with long term exposure as well as accelerated testing. This is a key part of the design of our products as well as the verification of products made at the factory.
Finished products storage
Our outgoing products store is where goods will be drawn for final outgoing inspection according to MIL-105e standards. Inspectors are either in house or third party depending on our supply and quality contracts such as the government.
